REDPATH DEILMANN is an international leader in shaft construction and an innovative service provider in mining and tunnel construction.     For our head office in Dortmund we are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) electrical design engineer (m/f/d) on a permanent basis.
  • You design and document electrical systems using a CAD system and independently develop concepts for modern control software and their networking
  • Your work will focus on programming PLC systems and integrating various drive technologies from different manufacturers
  • You take care of interface programming to higher-level control and visualization systems, ensuring that our systems communicate smoothly
  • You will also create planning documents and training materials for our operating sites in Germany and abroad
  • Another important part of your work is the commissioning of PLC software, drive technology and bus systems - especially in the field of complex conveyor systems
  • You will work independently and contribute your specialist knowledge to varied projects
  • You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical course of study
  • Ideally, you have experience in working with the SEE Electrical CAD system
  • You have knowledge in the design, programming and commissioning of PLC controls (e.g. Siemens S7, TIA Portal, CoDeSys) as well as in visualization systems such as WinCC flexible and common bus systems
  • A confident handling of the PC and application-related software is a matter of course for you
  • You work in an organized manner, communicate clearly and value teamwork
  • Initial knowledge of shaft hoisting technology and drive technology is an advantage, but not a must
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic project environment and are willing to take occasional business trips at home and abroad
  • You have a good command of German and English, as well as technical understanding, analytical skills and a willingness to make decisions
  • Initiative and a solution-oriented way of working round off your profile
