Mining technicians as well as civil engineering technicians are trained in the use of mining machinery, equipment and systems for the construction of underground structures in various mining sectors (salt, ore, coal).

Southwest German salt plants Heilbronn – Shaft Konradsberg
A wall dam is built in the airway and the cavity is filled with building material. As the work had to be carried out on a shaft, it was necessary to be particularly careful there in order to install the railings, safety net etc. In conclusion, it was an instructive time for the trainees with some new experiences that will have a positive effect on their training period.
Polder shaft Dortmund
At this construction site, the shaft wall was lined with a 15 – 25 cm thick concrete layer and thus sealed. Special attention was paid there to the preparation of the concrete work. The construction of the formwork and reinforcement was the main activity of the work.
Small colliery Haunert
According to historical photos, a replica of the former winding tower was built and the tower has been erected in Bochum at the place of the former mining. The project was carried out completely by our training department.
