Pre-Feasibility &Feasibility
We understand the importance for our clients to minimize sinking time and assure uninterrupted operations. No other factor influences cost more than time.
Throughout our planning work, we use a combination of thorough investigation techniques as well as our vast experience to develop concepts which incorporate the intricacies of:
- climatic and geological challenges
- technical issues
- environmental issues
- regulatory constraints
Better planning and preparation means less standstill, optimized project progress and therefore more cost savings for our customers.
Concept and Feasibility Study
During the Concept and Feasibility Study Phase, we collect information regarding client requirements, location, ground conditions, hydrogeology and any other pertinent information.
Based on these data, we determine the feasibility of the project. We then work closely with our clients to develop a concept to meet their requirements.
In our concept recommendations we include details such as
- shaft diameter
- sinking and lining methodologies
- whether ground support is required
- construction method which fits with the ground conditions
Time and Cost Scheduling
Once the concept is completed, we then develop time and cost estimates for the project.
The required duration of the project is crucial for customers. Based on our experience and know-how, we are able to deliver realistic estimates. This allows our clients to better plan the financing, operational restrictions and cash flow of their projects.
